Marjorie grew up in a small town in Southern Alberta. She graduated from the University of Calgary with a Bachelors Degree in Kinesiology. Marjorie then moved to New Zealand to study Physiotherapy, where she graduated with Honors from the 4-year Degree program at the Auckland University of Technology. From here, she traveled over to Australia to gain work experience along the Gold Coast, which also included teaching Clinical Reformer Pilates. Marjorie supplemented this by working as the Sports Physiotherapist for the local Premiere Soccer Team in Murwillumbah. As an extra- curricular, she was a research assistant in the use of various therapies for the treatment of non-union fractures, tendinopathies, neuropathies and diabetes.
Marjorie is excited to reconnect with the community, and build her practice here in Calgary. At CCST she is able to spend undivided, one-on-one time with patients, which is something she highly regards in patient care. Marjorie has an eye for biomechanics, and an apt for manual therapy in helping you return to movement, and prevent injury. Marjorie keeps active herself by dabbling in all sorts of activities including, trail running, yoga, road cycling, hiking, swimming, wall climbing, snow boarding, and snow shoeing.
